| The Queens College Choral Society relies on support of music-loving community members and businesses. Although the Choral Society receives support from Queens College in the form of a Music Director and rehearsal space, it receives no additional funding, and must rely entirely on the generosity of music-loving community members, local politicians and businesses to cover the many costs associated with creating live concerts, including hiring professional soloists and instrumentalists, music purchase and rental, performance facility expenses, etc.
